SEVENTH ANNUAL BLUES & BOOGIE PIANO SUMMIT

11-8-05

SORRY if you missed the SEVENTH ANNUAL BLUES & BOOGIE PIANO SUMMIT, held SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5th @ the Historic SOUTHGATE HOUSE in Newport, KY... each year proves to be something very special, but this one really took the cake! Parisians FABRICE EULRY & JULIEN BRUNETAUD stirred up excitement all over town days before the event, and Tuscon, Arizona's ARTHUR MIGLIAZZA was a familiar face to anyone who has attended the Cincy Blues Fest's "Arches Boogie Piano Stage" in years past...my group, THE SWINGIN' MUDBUGS (NICK LLOYD- upright bass, BRIAN AYLOR- drums & DAVE HALEY- guitar) laid down stellar accompaniment, with Dave, a new addition to the show, servin' up some heated pickin' for the proceedings...look for the CD highlights to be released in March, a bit earlier than usual- and make plans to attend the EIGHTH ANNUAL BLUES & BOOGIE PIANO SUMMIT- Saturday, November 11th, 2006- featuring "Mr. Boogie Woogie", ERIC-JAN OVERBEEK (Netherlands): MICHAEL PEWNY (Vienna) & JULIAN PHILLIPS (U.K.)
